First, if you play good solo jazz piano, you might be interested in joining our monthly "Monster Piano Night" with myself and other local (NW) jazz pianists. We play for each other, usually a different monthly theme ("Duke Ellington/Billy Strayhorn night" or "Benny Golson night," for example). No drums or bass or horns. SOLO PIANO! Our purpose is to enjoy each other's playing and learn from one another. It's usually held at my place (on my new C7 Yamaha) or Scot Ranney's Bellingham home. Contact me if you need more details.
