(Note: I fall very short in many ways and all too often of my heart's desire to love God with all my heart. Still, I find it helpful and renewing to have a statement of purpose which I endeavor to consider and embrace every day).

My purpose in life is to work by faith in partnership with God and His people to make a maximum kingdom and "great commission" impact in me, my family, my church, my community, and my world.

I am committed to uncompromising personal holiness, purity, integrity, goodness and spirituality. With thankfulness, contentment, and wisdom I want to be a good steward of all God has entrusted to me.

In the power of the Spirit and with the grace of God I wish to help, encourage, inspire, and exhort others (in and outside the church) to live and be like Jesus, to adopt his values and agenda, to enjoy His friendship, and to experience his grace and freedom.

With singleness of purpose I desire to hear on that Day and at the end of each day, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
